Rules

No God-modding.
This means that you can't magically be resurrected. You're not allowed to be all-powerful. You are not DBZ or Jesus. If you attempt to emulate either, bad things will happen. And don't control another player's character while you're at it.

No mercenaries.
The chances of your character being accepted as a mercenary are extremely slim- emaciated, even. Save yourself the trouble and try being creative with your character by giving them a different occupation.

Regarding races.
Please stick with the given races. New races from the other continents may be accepted if you contact the gm beforehand and this race is Very Well Done. Please no furries or aliens. Keep in mind that while this isn't a strictly medieval roleplay, it does have certain themes. These themes don't include furries or aliens.

For your eyes only.
While it may not seem like it, this roleplay does have a direction. Players with political leaders and whatnot as characters are appreciated and may be told top-secret information about their role. Taking these roles upon themselves means that they agree not to tell other players this top-secret information and thus ruin the surprise for everyone.

Creating new characters.
When a player applies for a second/third/whatever character, their current postings will be looked at. That is to say, if a player posts infrequently, then their application will be denied. :D You're always allowed to create a new character as long as you are keeping up with your current character. However, if you're new to the roleplay and want to apply for a second character, you have to be around for at least a month.

Don't be a jerk.
Self-explanatory. Please treat other players with respect. If you don't get along with another player, that's okay, but please be mature and don't contact the other players saying offensive things. We're here to have fun. If you are being harassed, please contact one of the gms.

Posting.
Please don't become a milkcarton character. That is, please don't disappear. Post regularly. If you're going to be gone, please give a notice on the OOC board. When you do post, please write at least a paragraph or a short note asking to be skipped, if you find yourself in a difficult situation (ex. maimed, unconsious, .

Save the English language.
Please make your post readable. If you have trouble with spelling, run it through a spell-check. No L337 or chatspeak. The English language has been maimed enough as it is. Don't kick it while it's down.

Warnings on posts and permission from other players.
If you post something with extreme violence or adult situations, it needs a warning and permission from the other player. And while killing another character, unless it is particularly gruesome, does not need a warning, the other player's permission is still needed. No one wants to come home and find that they died without knowing. ;D
